For me, nothing has changed, this was just miserably forced attempt to give some positive attribute to the character. But tbh most of the dialogues didn't make any sense, many of them was just a cheapo cliche. Still an irritating, cringe character. Also cringe that the author try to sell us this thing as a character.

well yeah, if you go into this believing he has zero redeeming or sympathetic qualities (i don't know how anyone could, but that's beside the point), then of course this isn't gonna change anything for you lol he's a pretty layered and three-dimensional protagonist, which the show has been able to make more than clear now. so yeah, i'd say the author has in fact "sold" us on him being a character lol |
