Question for those who've watched the series already. Artwork aside how would you compare the show to the game? (Same with he other personas if possible) would you say that it follows the same story? Or does it maybe diverge and tell it's own story, etc

It follows the same story just like PS4 The animation to the game.

I've only watched bits and pieces of the show mostly to gauge it, but it seems mostly just incredibly rushed. It seems like the events are more or less there but they're trying to cram a ton of stuff in to not very much time and so everything just has the gas slammed on it, which leaves the story lacking impact and the fights incredibly brief.

Apparently even this doesn't include some OVAs that were released with the JP blurays, which are separate from the specials. I'm not into Persona or the anime, but paying $300 for an incomplete product is kinda out of the question.
