The English cast retrospective on Tylor would be nice if it happens. Its been 20 years!
 Even though its not as refined as the Japanese the dub is still very charming and its one of Crispin Freeman's first main character roles. Although personally I'm not a fan of the dub songs, I hope those are kept in Japanese.

I don't wanna get into this debate every time this show comes up, so I'll just say this: Watch a recent hentai (hell, pick up a release from Critical Mass!). Then watch Interspecies Reviewers. Quite a gap, isn't there? |

I wish I could afford Captain Tylor I mean I already have it on DVD, but Bluray is always nicer. Its one of my favorite series and one of the only few I've seen where I love the entire cast and they were all fun to watch. I never watched the OVA, but it looks to take a more serious approach than the TV series based on the cover art and style change.
Edit: wait its not going to be released until April I didn't see that so maybe I will have money then we will see. xD |

Here's another vote for Interspecies Reviewers, and in particular for it getting at least a dub, even if they can't have the original. Only got to see the first two eps, but I liked it quite a bit.

Love Tylor and glad to see it get a BD release. I won't be picking this particular set up as $250 MSRP is beyond what I'm willing to spend at the moment.
Really wish Shawne chose the artwork from the Japanese BD box. 
It's even better with the obi because Yamamoto gets covered up and it's just Tylor with his beauties

Tylor is on my Top 10 Anime list! However, I unfortunately can't preorder it.
I was never interested in Interspecies Reviewers, but the fact it's getting a physical release after the controversy it caused is a surprise and is great for fans of the show. |

It might not make or break it for you, but it's only $200 if your a Got Anime member (considering the savings I'm surprised this wasn't mentioned on the page lol). |

They already were, sort of. People who were obviously in it denied being in it on Twitter etc. Simulcasts don't have translated credits so we don't know if they planned to use fake names, but given this they were probably going to. I wonder if RightStuf are planning on keeping the same cast or just restarting with a new one from zero. Barely any episodes were dubbed, so if they do plan to dub it I'm not sure they would go the effort of getting Funi's cast back. Either way, I'm glad we're getting it over here, for those who wanted it. |

This is why I said what i said, also, though I said "we have a case of someone not doing their research" that CLEARLY wasn't the case as they knew exactly what the show was about and still bought the license and purchased streaming rights to it and got on 1 ep of the dub b4 canning the whole dub and pulling out on the streaming. if that isn't hate, i dunno what is lol |

It is objectively and factually not hentai. It's not labeled as pornographic in Japan with an R-18 warning, nor is it sold in the hentai section of retailers in Japan, it's sold in the same section as other regular anime are. Selling it under a porn label is purely only in America. It's weird how it's treated so differently in America versus Japan. |

I'm glad that it's getting released somehow, even if they felt the need to release it under a 18+ label. I don't live by myself, so I probably won't get it, but maybe if I ever live on my own.
