While it is a good idea, make a sequel and have Tecmo made a prequel make to help flesh things out. I would have preferred an actual main line to have covered this important event.And not everyone likes Dynasty Warriors, so where as Hyrule Warriors is a take it or leave it Zelda spinoff, this is canon material.

Now THIS is a nice surprised especially there has been no leaks of this whatsoever! Also this such an incredibly fitting way to show off the story of the Calamity War as a Dynasty Warriors-type of game. One thing for sure, this could end up being one of the most depressing game Nintendo has released.

Well this is out of left field, but the more I think about it, the more hyped I get. Hyrule Warriors was fun for being a mostly turn-off-your-brain button-masher with a crossover fanfic plot (including a literal Original Character Do Not Steal), but this is going to be an actual canon story in a setting where the Musou gameplay style will work really well. Sign me up.
