I wonder if it will be in 2D style, or even 2.5D given ASW's involvement.

I was hoping for a fighting game given how fun the RWBY characters are in BBTAG (and the nature of the show in general), but given that WayForward is involved and CRWBY saying it takes place somewhere in V7, its likely a side scroller.

So does nobody else remember RWBY: Grimm Eclipse, currently available from the Steam Store, since July of 2016?

I have, and yeah, while its a nice beat-em-up, it gets repetitve super fast since all you do is literally fight Grimm.

Don’t have the Steam version but do have the PS4 version.
