The company will release the anime in the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, Ireland, South Africa, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden, the Netherlands, Greenland, the Faroe and Åland Islands, Scandinavian countries, Spain, Portugal, and Latin America.

Canada, Australia, United Kingdom, New Zealand? ...ok, there's no lolis outside of appearance-wise, so good to go? Also, porn is banned on Iceland, wonder how that goes?...

The anime will stream online in both a "TV broadcast" version and a "Redo" version. AT-X will also air both a TV broadcast version and a "complete recovery" version.

Have some serious doubts even 'complete recovery' version will be wholly uncensored if streamed, I'm satisfied if they'll manage to get the Blu-ray version out untouched...

This does give at least some hope someone will come and license the light novel version from Kadokawa(there's currently 9 volumes out, not mentioned in the article). If one does come out it's a definite buy from me.

If what the comments are saying is true, will Sentai drop this like Funiamtion dropped Interspecies Reviewer. Then again there likly won't be a simuldub so they maybe fine simulcasting it regardless of content. Talking Funiamtion, weren't they big into Echi at one point, what happened there.

They still get Ecchi though, so this comment doesnt make much sense.

Funimation dropping Interspecies Reviewers was wholly unprecedented. I don't see why it would suddenly become a trend among licensing companies to start dropping a bunch of titles they license. Maybe if it happens 3 or 4 times we can start wondering if it's a trend or not.

All the same, 2010 was 10 years ago. A lot can change in a decade. A lot has changed this past decade. I doubt Funimation would make the same kinds of jokes and marketing decisions they used to do back in the day with works like Shin-chan or Panty and Stocking. Still, I'm glad Redo was licensed by someone. It seems like a no-brainer pick since people will obviously be giving it a lot of free marketing.

In terms of content, I really dont know why. They are about as good as they were then and in some cases better in terms of show quality. So they aren't licensing borderline porn as much anymore, not much wrong with that.

Funi really only dropped IR because they didn't expect the sudden shift from ecchi to full blown porn. No one did. It was completely different from the manga, so even reading that tp get a good read on the show wouldnt have helped.

Redo of Healer so far has been very upfront about what it is. No confusion at all about what's going to happen. So I highly doubt Sentai will drop it since they know what they are getting into.

Though if you ask me they only licensed it so people would start talking about them again. The news has been so dominated by the FuniRoll Reunion that Sentai needed SOMETHING to get on the board before the year ended. Licensing what could be the most controversial anime of next year is a good start I guess.

Somehow I have a strong feeling that if this show gets picked up for a dubcast, most of the cast would choose to remain anonymous or use pseudonyms for the credits

And yet more posts are gone. Wanna keep it up?

Tempest himself made it clear previously, and with the warning added into the very first post here, what is and is not going to fly. Posts excusing or reveling the behavior of the MC are not, and neither are posts that are just pointless flamebait comments that go on in some fashion about how the user can't wait to see the shit show fallout. If that's all you care about then go watch that fallout elsewhere. Any sort of baseless accusations or conspiracy theories are also not going to be tolerated, and they have not been for some time on any topic. None of this is new. Some aspects are just being much more tightly monitored with this series given it's subject material. Once again, if you as a user have issue with this then by all means go get your yucks somewhere else and watch the dumpster fire elsewhere.

As a point of order criticizing a show and it's director, creator, etc is not the same as personal attacks. There is a difference and one is not the other just because others are criticizing the show and you like it.

Any further posts that want to debate this or violate the already mentioned guidelines is simply going to be removed. If users keep on doing it then moderation is the next step.

For the record, since someone was alluding to me in this thread earlier, I have not "threatened" any companies or staff of any companies over this anime on Twitter. Threats are serious and suggest undertaking some kind of action in response to something, usually one that will seriously harm another party. No one should be threatening anyone over anime, period.

What I did say is that I would "judge" the company that picked this up, in the same way anyone here might "judge" any company that makes a financial decision they don't agree with. My cause for "judgment" was simply because it would make my life more exhausting. Surprise, I personally continue to get comments ranging from dumb insults to threats of sexual violence against me for saying as much.

Call it a self-fulfilling prophecy. Anyway, enjoy your show.

Brilliant move by Sentai. I'm not even sure they had any exclusive content in summer or fall, and this guarantees some viewership now that they are the small fish. The internet is marketing this show itself, they have to do nothing but sit back and get the views.

If I remember right Sentai streamed Peter Grill two seasons ago.

Just because it's a hot button topic and people are talking about it does not mean they will necessarily watch it. Plus, there's the question of is it worth the trouble and grief they'll no doubt get?
