From the summary, it has an interesting perspective so I'm hoping it can be an equally engaging story. Fingers crossed the MC isn't a womanizing pervert; I had to finally drop MAGI for that because it got so aggravating.

Please don't start the title with Magi. You got my hopes up that it might finally be getting another season

The story for Orient isn't as good as Magi and I'm not a fan of this type of setting, but I love Ohtaka's artstyle and the way she draws her characters so I just scroll through the chapters when they are released.

I'll watch the anime who knows I might change my opinion on it.

It's been years since the last Magi season so I don't think it will ever get another season even though its finished...

Well at least the author's new work is getting an anime but I've never read it and not planning on it either

Mahouka and Log Horizon both had their last season air at the same time as Magi and got new seasons this/last year. Plus there has been a rise in revivals and remakes for older series so it isn't out of the the realm of possibility it might at some stage

Magi was one of the most beautifully drawn pieces of art I have ever seen. Too bad the anime does not have an ending but at least manga was completed so I am going to switch to there.

I am not expecting the Magi anime to ever be completed. And this new anime will likely be also never finished properly.

This is the sad reality of how anime/manga business is going on. We get a lot of incomplete good anime since they mostly serve as an advertisement for manga. It is more beneficial to make a few incomplete anime for a few manga series rather than make a bigger/complete anime for a single manga.

Even though it was also true for the past, somehow we were getting lots of dreadfully long-running low-grade trashy anime instead of even good anime being short/incomplete nowadays.

I feel disoriented that Magi didn't get a new season to finish the story before this got an adaptation.
