Sad to see it end so soon.

i don't think 11 years is "so soon" lol

People are going to say so soon even if a manga has been running for 25+ years.

I blame One Piece for this mentality.

So far the manga's final arc seems to have been built up well considering it started some years ago. Now I wonder what type of ending is Isayama planning considering that old time he said he thought of Stephen King's Shining as an inspiration for his ending but was concerned about it

His inspiration for the ending is The Mist movie, not The Shinning.

There are some stories that continue well past the time that they are entertaining or interesting. I'll be glad to see Attack on Titan have an ending that matches what the writer intends to accomplish.

There are plenty of series that barely get started even if the writer has an idea that many people would enjoy.

The story's been excellent so far.

But I'd prefer to pick up the anime over the manga.

MAPPA's done a damn good job with the recent episodes. This could be one for the ages!

I knew back in November when Isayama said that AOT was 1% away from completion that there was no way this manga was ending in 2020. There were just way too many plot threads that needed to be resolved. Now that we know how many chapters this thing has left it's safe to say that Isayama will have plenty of time to wrap things up nicely.

The date has finally been set. So I'm going to bet that the Final Season will have a part 2 because there's no way that they will finish it in 16 episodes as I expected along with the producers stating they will adapt to the end.
