I thought people hate on CR Originals because they're english produced works (some directly adapted from Japanese works) trying to be like Japanese produced works.

Onyx Equinox has plenty of issues, but it's one of the better CR Originals and a direction I want Crunchyroll to go into with their original shows. Let's face it, for every decent original like Tower of God or Tonikawa, you have dumpster fires like Gibiate or the soon to be obliterated EX-ARM.

I want there to be a S2, this is one of the few originals that has potential to be a big hit. The show just needs to iron out its issues, which can be done if the show gets renewed. Yet it seems like Crunchyroll is going with Japanese productions, and the Sony acquisiton is making me doubt that we'll see more.
