It's actually Aquatope according to the official website's URL. But the tweet from P.A. Works also misspells it as Auatrope.

Two girls meeting in an aquarium is becoming part of the vernacular for yuri so I'm going to be disappointed if they don't lean towards that (I still plan on watching it)!

There's no debate—the katakana clearly read "アクアトープ," meaning "aquatrope." The anime studio inability to proofread English strikes again.

Be fair 99% of Americans cant read basic kana, so what is point? Anime studio's primary focus is on JDM, nor America.

Hmm... It has that usual PA Works aesthetic going on which means that there's a high possibility that I won't like it. The concept does sound like it could be interesting though.

Thanks everyone for pointing out the anime's title misspelling. Yes we got the English title from the official English Twitter account, which misspelled it. I did read the katakana but assumed "Auatrope" was what they wanted to go for, so I kept it like that, but I see that other Tweets on the same English Twitter account did use "Aquatrope," so yes obviously that one Tweet was just misspelled. We corrected the article.

I really loved Iroduku and it’s so underrated and needs a physical release already so I’m excited for more from the same staff and the animation looks gorgeous.

Looks like another yuri voice role for Miku Itou. Previously she did Misuzu Moritani from Fragtime, Hougetsu Shimamura from Adachi and Shimamura and Yuri Hitotsuyanagi from Assault Lily Bouquet. Rikako Aida are getting more roles, good for her. She's one of my favorite since Love Live Sunshine.

The "R" isn't needed; アクアトープ, Akuatōpu. No idea what one of those actually is, mind...
