Ok so how has uma musume gotten so much anime and manga from cyan games, and had people sign up for pre reg almost 3 years ago......AND WE ARE JUST NOW getting this game?

The rumors are that while Cygames was able to get the license to use the IRL horse names in the anime they had a hard time getting the license/approval to use the names for the game.

It will be interesting to see if some of the horses that were prominent in season one, but largely missing from season two so far are the names they couldn't secure for the game. Although with how some of these horses met their end, they probably could have given the first episode the full transformers the movie treatment.

As someone who enjoyed the anime a lot and had been curious about this franchise since the initial trailer for the mobile game, I'm glad this is finally coming out. I just hope it will stay up longer than a year than what we've been seeing with a lot of anime mobile games lately it seems like.
