Ichigo looks adorable, and I like how her design has reds in it besides the pink color as before, which makes sense considering her name means strawberry.

Too bad it's not coming out this year, but that does give me time to watch the original series. Hopefully this new series does well. It'd be great to see more kid-targeted magical girl series again. I like Precure but it being the only one nowadays is sad... I'm also hoping the new series will lead to the original series getting redubbed, or at least a subbed-only release by Discotek.

I hope this gets dubbed in English, at least by 4Kids Ent.

4K Media only works on Yugioh dubs nowadays.

I really like this updated design. The color changes and added frills give the design more depth, but they didn't radically change the design and really stuck with the elements that worked in the original. I hope this turns out to be a financial and critical success, Tokyo Mew Mew is a pretty cool series.

Also, seconding for a new 4Kids dub, if only for the lols.

If this Tweet is anything to go by, FUNimation has it: https://twitter.com/FUNimation/status/1364281887422894087?ref_src=twsrc%5Egoogle%7Ctwcamp%5Eserp%7Ctwgr%5Etweet

Hope they get their hands on the original series too!

I know people who are asking for a 4Kids dub are largely joking, but...people do know 4Kids essentially no longer exists, right?

Anyway, looking forward to seeing more Tokyo Mew Mew. It's a fun series.

Oh no, not them... Anime hyper

Funi is like literally the Channel Awesome of anime dubbing companies now that I've found out what's gone on behind the scenes and with certain people working there.

Then I am sure they will outsource the dub to Bang Zoom!, the Ocean Group, Studiopolis or something. What do you think?

It would be cool if they did a NYAV Post dub. Never enough New York dubs, and that would allow some reprisals from the old dub. I'd love an Ocean dub as well, but I'm not getting my hopes for that, haha.

It'll probably be the usual FUNi dub but if we're lucky, they'll continue to take advantage of the remote recording plan and get whoever's still around from the old cast. If not remotely than through Sabat's LA studio.
