This delay can't be helped as I'm sure they considered how much they'd lose at the box office if they released it leading into the state of emergency. It could happen again but I imagine they just want to get it out now given that fans have had to wait years for this follow-up to the third film (a very polarising entry itself).
I hope they have showings on Western cinemas once they're showed to reopen. I'll definitely be up for seeing it if I can get to one that plans to show it. |

One minute off? What annoying misinformation! Kidding aside, I really hope this movie finally gets its release--it's really earned it after all this time. I also really hope that someone here, be it Gkids or whoever, will be able to pick this up shortly after. It's really about time and just plain overdue for us all to finally see how Anno concludes this story. |

This release can(Not) happen any sooner. I've been rereading the manga and watching reaction vids over the past month just to get my fix.
Hopefully this time around we will (Not) watch Shinji making frozen yogurt, if you know what I mean. |

if they have to delay it go ahead. I know people hate the delays but this series is the pinnacle of the medium,and it deserves to get a good release.
