Wish we had gotten a full 3rd season continuing the manga adaptation instead of an anime original movie, but at this point I'll take anything. Can't believe it's been 6 years since the last sesaon. Seems it might take just as long for another BLAME movie (assuming we do get another).

It's odd to me the film taking different take from anime television show and the manga.
I just hope it doesn't go too much further into weird direction. I though it outright strange how the "friend" alien that part of ship's crew just about is giant girl in a dress like form. I personally like ending of the television show, but it will be interesting to see where this goes. |
