Hated is a bit strong, more like were underwhelmed due to the overly high expectations.

Looks decent! I'm not in love with the main characters outfit though. Is she going to be wearing plain looking wedding dresses during the entire series?!?

The original promo image released has her wearing a more traditional pirate outfit, so it seems it's just for the "escape" part

This seems ok. I'll probably end up watching it for both sub and dub though, unless it's seriously awful.

Pretty much. I also have to admit, the kunoichi girl Karin seems very intriguing in my opinion.
