I've followed this manga ever since it showed up as a Tsugi ni Kuru finalist last year. I hope this news means someone will pick the scanlations back up, or (even better) that it will be licensed.

A while back there was a commercial for the manga that felt like it could’ve been a commercial for an upcoming anime. I wonder if this upcoming show will be similar to the commercial or if it’ll go for something a little different.

I Wonder who will Licensed this anime, could it be Funimation, Crunchyroll, or Sentai ? for me i could see Funimation will license/dub and i think dubbing something like this now is possible with the anime that had heavy dialogue like Nichijou, Kakushigoto, Chihayafuru was able to get dubbed and people actually perform rakugo in English (you can watch them on YouTube), and if a dubbing company want to dub a heavy dialogue anime it needs some good ,clever,accurate creativity on the material and its script writing.

I remember seeing that ad awhile back and surprised how many views it go in total. Of course ideally getting the Studio DEEN peeps who did the Rakugo series would be perfect!
