Ya guys don't know? Disney US has been showing "anime" for some time now!
Do ya know what Disney call their time-filler shorts on their TV networks? "Chibi Tales" https://disneynow.com/shows/chibi-tiny-tales |

everything was good, till the netflix nation attacked that word and so did the other mega corps follow suit. Last edited by #Neothegreenland on Thu Oct 14, 2021 6:04 pm; edited 1 time in total |

I've never understood this mindset that reverse harems/predominantly male casts = BL bait. It even ends up happening to shows with romance in them like Hakuoki. Nobody ever seems to call shows like Princess Connect Redive (male targeted mobage adaptation) or female harems yuri bait. |

Probably that sexist belief that anything with a female target audience must be subpar or have something wrong with it. I know there's nothing wrong with BL and that some of it is, in fact, targeted to actual non-het men rather than women, but I've never seen the terms "BL bait" or similar used in a positive light, and it's something that should stop.
Still excited, since it's a similar sort of thing. |

I'm happy to hear that! The story thus far is great and interesting and the characters are really fun! I just had to make the correction because there are many people who still think it's an otome (and that the characters are male versions of the villains, when they just embody some of the traits since the actual villains are part of the lore.) when it's not. There's no romance and dating in the game at all. lol |

With that said, I'm curious if this will be a linear adaptation like Granblue Fantasy (with potential for multiple seasons), a greatest hits compilation like Fate/Grand Order, or an original story with the flavor of a standalone event. I like to think I'll be fine with anything as long as it captures the basic Harry Potter meets Daily Lives of High School Boys flavor of the source material. |

Ah yeah. That event. lol I will take back what I said about there being no romance at all because of said event, but I meant more along the lines of the MC romancing any of the characters and there being routes n' stuff. Like that as the main purpose of the game. Which is what I think a lot of people were assuming when the game was first announced and apparently still think (I recently ran across someone who claimed the game was a game where you romance male Disney villains. . .). I've been wondering about what they're adapting considering the main story focusing on the dorms and their leaders isn't even done yet (and with all the delays, I'm not expecting that anytime soon). I'd like to see a mix of the main story plus events/side stories to flesh out the world and characters some more. I'd also be interested in a slice of life type anime, but I'm expecting them to just retell the main story and maybe add in some original stuff to elaborate on the world. I'm just excited to see everyone animated. I just hope the animation will be nice. I was so disappointed with the animation for A3!'s anime adaption. It was hard to watch at times. |

I didn't mean it like BL is bad, you know like Isekai where Japan keep making it cause that's most profitable, don't matter if it's good or garbage So I felt like are they making this because it's good or just for the money. Nothing wrong with making money just don't suck |

My point wasn't that you were saying BL = bad, my point was that all this series has is a predominantly male cast and it gets called BL bait despite the fact that the game is targeted towards women for non BL reasons. It was also that similar things targeted at men don't get called yuri bait so there's a double standard there. |

Hey, I'm actually someone who was under that same misconception, so thanks for clearing that up! The wedding event sounds pretty hilarious to me too. |

You're very welcome! <3 I really want people to not overlook this game/anime because of that misconception and to give it a chance (if it sounds appealing since it's not gonna be for everyone). It's more than just pretty boys. lol And yes! The wedding event was funny and fun. I liked it a lot! lol I really enjoy all the events and other stories because they flesh out the characters more and you get to see them in different situations outside of the dark main story. They can be quite amusing. lol |
