I thought that this was a shoujo series all along but apparently it runs in Afternoon which makes it a seinen. I guess in the end demographics don't matter, it seems cute so I'll probably watch it

This is great manga, somehow last few days some of the best manga I've read get the adaptations!
As for shojou vs seinen, I don't think it really matters now in increasingly digital world, and thank god for that. |

If well done, no reason appeal has to be limited to a specific gender, e.g. one did not have to be a lesbian or female-bisexual to enjoy Aoi Hana. |
