I'm with phantom360.

Another reason to not use Netflix anyways, they've been removing good shows/anime and putting garbage in their place.

This is always why I prefer owning the DVDs. Media never stays on forever on streaming services.

Good luck with that. There’s way too many episodes to be finished by December.

"Too many episodes"??? It's a 114 half-hour episodes TV show. You can clear that in a week, or even less, assuming the person wating to binge it has that free time.

"Too many episodes".

Not if you’re watching 4 episodes a day like me, starting yesterday. Should be finished right on time.

Maybe it will now appear in another anime streaming service Wink

If my Sony theory is correct, then yes, that’s actually quite likely.

I just hope it is correct.

Same here. Why would I pay for a rental service over and over only to have the shows I want to watch get taken away at an undetermined time in the future.

Praying for physical media of some kind. Not sure if the Netflix had an actual HD version or if it was just an upscale.
I really should buy those four Saint Seiya movies on Blu-ray to show my support. But I already bought them before on DVD.

The masters are based off the crappy Blu-ray upscale released back in 2014.

Both releases are confirmed flops so it won't matter because Discotek is done with Saint Seiya.

Kind of a problem when the show was never released on BD after Netflix got it and ADV only released the first 60 episodes with the original release.

By that logic you shouldn’t like owning physical media since rights can expire or the company making them can go out of business causing those DVDs to fall out of print. So if you lose or damage those DVD when that happens you’re screwed.
