Do any of the ANN skins other than Dark Theme by Horseradish actually do anything?

Can you list them so i can go see what they look like? Because all the ones I've tried look like the same white and blue standard theme. |

Pretty much everything I attempt to open works, which means the problem is with your connection. I am a subscriber. I don't think the ability to change skins is limited to subscribers but you might want to check with someone else who isn't subscribed to see if that is a problem.

Well like i said the Dark theme by Horseradish works (I'm using it right now) So i don't think it's that. |

I had to reset the skin today. I selected my current default "Green City" and it works just fine.

I just selected Green City and it's just the normal white and blue. Not sure why the Dark Theme is the only one that works. It's not even one of the 2 ANN themes made by the creators of the site. Thoughts? |

I assume you mean this one: animenewsnetwork.com/skin/3734/preview AdBlock blocks certain elements we use in our skins. AdblockPlus using Easylist does break that skin for me (it completely removes the left gutter, uncentering our main column). You won't notice this on a narrower screen though. Aside from the left gutter, AdBlock blocks all the images in our skins. Dark Skin is working because it doesn't use any images. Anyways, it's up to you if you want to temporarily disable Adblock to see if it's what is causing the problem or not. I'm almost entirely positive Adblock is what's causing your problem. We accept that people are going to block ads, but I hope you understand that we don't provide any support for unintended consequences of adblock. |

Ah thank you Tempest. I do use uBlock Origin not AdblockPlus but i imagine they work much the same way. At least the one theme that works with uBlock helps deal with the eye strain. Out of curiosity, are there any other imageless themes? (i haven't gone through them all yet) |

The skins are user created, like you I haven't gone through them all.
That said, I'm not aware of any imageless skins (I wasn't aware of this one either). -t |
