Well, this is an interesting collaboration between two different ghost stories. I think I can add another connection, some of the voice actors and actresses who voice characters Shaman King's Neutral Spanish dub also voiced characters in Ghostbusters: Silva is Winston, Mosuke is Venkman, Shamon is Raymond, Janine is Jeanne, Trevor is Nichrom. It kinda of helps that the first 2 Ghostbusters were dubbed into Spanish more than three times.

First of all, I gotta thank @enurtsol for shouting out Ghostbusters: Afterlife, because I didn't even know that there was a new Ghostbusters movie that came out last year  Thank you, because I watched it and loved it!
For @Silva Kirin, I also love the part where this collaboration is somewhat of a discussion on methods and views on ghosts per se.. Shaman King for Shamanism and Ghostbusters for Science, to me, this collab exhibits and values open-mindedness on the supernatural. Because of this, it definitely took my attention!  (and it's because Shaman King has always been part of my childhood )
Lastly for @BadNewsBlues, I was thinking more of the 2016 Ghostbusters. That was... let's just say despite of having Chris Hemsworth there, Paul Rudd in the Afterlife movie was way better? On top of that, it's this AWESOME COLLAB with Shaman King! <3

Well, it did put off Bill Murray from doing more Ghostbusters. And they made Lady Liberty walk!

Low hanging fruit I also like to think that with all the butthurt over 2016. It might have given the critics second thoughts about the prior contempt for the 2n film.
