If it is like Hulu ads, it is going to be a pain. I don't watch Hulu shows cause of the ads.

Free with ads, I can understand. Ads on top of a subscription fee? That's kinda ridiculous.

"Nearly half of Netflix subs would choose a cheaper, ad-supported option"
Quote:

Hub's research presented current Netflix subscribers with a hypothetical ad-supported tier and 46% said they would choose an option that includes pre-roll ads for $5 less per month.

However, only 39% would choose the less expensive plan if it meant watching pre- and mid-roll ads.

I'm not terribly bothered by a super cheap ad version so long as the ad-free higher tier continues to exist, but as most have said the issue is with their poor handling of their shows. They blow way too much money on crap, cancel their series too soon, and clearly have no idea what their audience wants. For how much they spent on the dud Red Notice they could have made 8 more Queen's Gambits.

But that's the thing:

But guess what happened? Laughing

'Red Notice' is now Netflix's most watched movie of all time

Maybe ya guys should re-calibrate what Netflix viewers consider as "most watchable" shows

Mass market appeal is the name of the game. Smaller, more clout-centric shows that can be released when times are good are going to be the first ones on the chopping block. Hence Bone getting canceled.
