I hope they get some of the original cast to play some parts. Have Toshio Furukawa play Ataru's dad or Fumi Hirano play Lum's mom!

I would like to see Viz license it, it feels like a Viz title.

With the incoming hype that Bleach and Chainsaw Man have, hopefully this show doesn't get left behind so much...

I'd rather have Fumi Hirano play Ataru's mom instead of Lum's since Lum's mother doesn't appear that frequently, while Ataru's mom does.

Well, they do license the manga, so it's definitely in the realm of possibility.

I hope not because they take too long to release their stuff on disc.

Hard to say who will license the Urusei Yatsura Anime, but I do hope for Netflix to license this series, along with Gundam: The Witch from Mercury.

I Would rather had Crunchyroll license this anime, they might going to simuldub it as well. If Sentai license this, they probably just dub random anime and they not dub many shows they license.

I rather for Netflix to get this considering that Crunchyroll is now outsourced most of their series in house, but for now it's a wait and see, cause usually Crunchyroll tends to license their series 4-6 months ahead and they haven't licensed Ursusei considering they now have TWO licensed titles for the Fall Season: Chainsaw Man and Blue Lock. Sentai tends to license shows 1-2 months before the show's debut and Netflix whenever they license an anime it's usually a month before the anime debut as shown with Netflix's licenses for Shaman King 2021, Edens Zero, Blue Period, Komi Can't Communicate and Uncle from Another World.

So I think that this should be a Netflix license.

Seen some of the original, so I'm very curious to see how this plays for current audience. The original was a seminal title for many long-running romantic comedy tropes and character archetypes specific to anime, so a lot of its shtick could come off as run-of-the-mill by current standards. How much will it be updated, I wonder?

Still, I agree that this could be worth watching for the cast if nothing else.
