Any show being compared to Better Call Saul is going to have me peeking at it.

Hopefully, this is a stopgap before a proper third season of Kakegurui.

Appreciate this since I was wondering if it was worth it without Yumeko. I do hope the main series gets another season since I always question adapting a spinoff when the main source has more material to cover.

yumeko is a devil

she is actually Lucifer, yes.

well, that is a meta joke on. how the kakegurui designs look so much like the umineko stakes, it goes as far as saying that the kakegurui School is the school their human versions go to.

Super excited to watch this. I’m all caught in the manga. Was sort of surprised it was only six episodes though Shocked

I enjoyed this more than I expected to, and I'm hoping for more seasons. Mary as the protagonist reminds me a lot of Kaiji, in the sense that she's very smart but not infallible, and occasionally screws up and has to scramble for a solution to her latest predicament. That was enough to give this prequel a distinct flavor and keep it from feeling like a watered-down version of the main series.

Laughing The other animation was referencing from Disney's Star Vs The Forces Of Evil.

Honestly liked Twin more than the main series. Yumeko is great in her own way, but gets boring after a while since she's too perfect. Mary has to actually try, and Tsuzura is hella gay, which is also awesome.
