It´s really happening then. Gans is clearly a persistent man. "Germany and Eastern Europe" are about as cheap as it gets to shoot. One of the reasons Resident Evil shot in our oh-so-cinematic subway complexes. The 2006 film shot in America and Canada. Certainly costlier to use, even Canada is on the cheaper end if one needs to use an American-looking location.
