So the reviewer didn't talk about the elephant in the room yet he still placed as the key image...

Whatever, I need to know if Laios is really into the cat

We got our first glimpse of one of my favorite characters- and I don’t mean the elves.

Dang, not a single mention of Kabru confronting the Canaries in the Lord of the Island's office? Nothing about these obviously important new characters, or the many revelations about Kabru's backstory?
The reviewer's apparent complete lack of interest in these aspects of the story has me worried for if/when the anime eventually adapts spoiler[the chapters that are literally just Kabru and Mithrun alone together lost in the dungeon].

I don't know if this was a translation error, but he was making poached egg, not scrambled egg as the subtitles claimed. He even uses them to make Eggs Benedict, which is made with a poached egg.

I don't think he is, which is a good thing considering she's 17 and he's 26. He is just very interested in beastmen like he is in most monsters. It's specified more in other translations he's specifically curious if she has eight nipples like a cat. He's definitely being inappropriate too, which his interest in monsters making him forget Izutsumi is a person first and foremost. He is well aware certain things are inappropriate to do with women/people in general, as seen with repeated efforts not to touch Marcille in a weird way, so yeah, he just forgot himself and needs to check that.

I guess it's canon that Laios is way too obsessed with animals.

The show needs praise for its animation, probably the best from any title so far this year.

I second that, it also is so good at so many different things. The food, the emotions, the action, the backgrounds, the effects, the cinematography, every single part is so well done. Trigger has always been one of my favorite studios and this just further cements that they are great at tackling a variety of genres.
