What's your basis for that supposition?

The seething hatred a lot of fans seem to have towards Netflix. The subtitlers being fired is far more likely.

Again, I'm trying to find the basis/source for that supposition.

Netflix is probably fine in all this but this is probably going to paint a giant target on the cat site because someone wanted 15 min of fame for their stunt.

I am shocked that in this day and age they actually have 12 episodes in the can before it starts airing. Cant remember the last anime season that aired where they wernt only 3-4 episodes ahead of airing.

Ahhhh.... whatever? It's not like Mappa is doing a different Ranma?

Considering the Ranma anime was originally canceled after like 9 episodes and the when it was brought back, it no longer followed the Manga, I would hope the new one is truer to the Manga

You make it sound like it was completely anime-original for the entire series. it definitely adapted some chapters and more got covered in the OVAs. Sure the anime took liberties and wrote lots of fillers but it did follow the manga to some extent.
Ranma is pretty episodic too so it's not like we're pining for plot.

Blocking ad actually effects funding forwards the website you visit so I refuse to use ad blockers unless mention above.

Keep in mind many of these sites (not ANN) will guilt you about using ad blockers for that reason even when said ads will make it near impossible to view their site. Some will even try to get you to pay real money to view an ad free version of their site.

In other words don’t feel too guilty about using an ad blocker especially if the ads are bad enough to cause the aforementioned problems and aren’t fixed by those running the websites guilty of this.

Yeah, shame she's only 98% naked.

Big assumption, thinking that there'll be a US home release and that it won't get stuck in Netflix jail. And on the lucky chance it does, there's a fair chance it won't include the dub.

All 3 of PA Works shows this season are 100% done and have been for a while before broadcast started.

This may not be a popular opinion, but if that's the case, I think they should stagger the releases instead of doing them all in one season. You never know when they'll run into trouble with future shows, so staggering the shows would give them more wiggle room with in-progress shows. Although, I suppose they'd be frustrated if something was leaked early as a result.

JoJo Stone Ocean had a Blu-Ray release, with the English Dub track. If Viz still has its hooks into Ranma, it may get the same treatment. But nothing can be said for sure until AnimeNYC.

Viz is involved with the show and they've released multiple Netflix Originals on home video with their dub intact.

If anyone wanted notable reprisals from the original show's dub, that's probably not good news. Netflix gave it to Iyuno (which as you pointed out, is likely the source of these leaks) and it's being recorded in LA. As of the remake's unveiling, Richard Ian Cox hadn't been asked to come back as male Ranma.

Though In PA's case its because they are already pressing the Blu Ray box sets to be released the month series finishes airing.
