I wish the team manager with the triceratops hairdo became a girlfriend, or pitcher Terano (that would be a sight!) or even Veloki (she's cute & villanous).
If I want to suggest a girlfriend outside the anime, I'd dream-cast Grace Auvergne from Akuyaku Reijō Tensei Oji-san because...you know the implicationsI

The Rentaro Family (and their school name I honestly keep forgetting myself!) vs the Jurassic Girls! And the fact that the author went to the trouble of designing such distinct dino ladies even when they're not girlfriends is commendable!
I love how Karane calls out the sports anime nonsense but then embodies it herself when it comes to protecting Shizuka. You mess with Shizuka, you mess with the entire Rentaro Family and their ability to spontaneously shift this from a sports anime parody to a DBZ parody. Shigeru Chiba does a decent Master Roshi. What can't the Hanazono women accomplish with their boobs? Honestly I'm surprised they didn't just have Hahari ordering Mei for most of the game, felt like it would've solved a lot of their problems. Rentaro catching an impossible to catch pitch for the sake of his girlfriend. Iku and Rentaro sharing a kiss in their underwear! Nice way of closing out this arc, especially with Iku's winning smile and "I love you." |

Karane's batting attack move being Murder Meteor because the dinosaurs were wiped out by a meteor. Which she announces using the meter of "Ka-me-ha-me-ha!", furthering the Dragonball gag.
Delivering two jokes in the same two words is highly efficient. Obviously the work of Nano. |

Let's see, next episode should end Volume 5, leaving four episodes for Volume 6... which is nine chapters long, and the anime usually adapts two in each episode. So I'm afraid one more chapter may be skipped.
Granted, Volume 6 ends in a three-parter, so I guess they could just adapt three chapters in the last episode. It might be awkward to change the pacing at the last minute, but as a fan of the manga, I prefer this over having more chapters skipped. |

Just that first shot of the Family walking around, with little Shizuka walking between and holding hands with Rentaro and Nano. Adorable. Meanwhile, I don't think I've ever laughed as hard at an anime joke--which is saying something--as I did when Mei entered Shizuka Land. I was already laughing because of the song and its effect on people. Yet at that point I just started fountaining laughter for, without exaggeration, about two minutes straight. Man, that was a good episode.

I love Shizuka so much and I really enjoyed how much she got to show off and how they animated it! I have also been waiting for Mimimi, I am not a manga reader but I enjoy hilariously haughty and gorgeous characters, she kind of seems like a more earnest version of Aira's vibe from DanDaDan. I am especially excited for how it will play into relationships in both the coming beauty off between them and more general group dynamics after that!

Her name is the funniest thing so far, I mean sure, all of their names are related to their quirks, but "Utsukushisugi" is on a whole other level, literally meaning "too beautiful".

"Hakari" is pronounced the same as the Japanese word for calculating or scheming, Scheming to get in Rentarou's you-know-what, obviously. |

Fitting that the greatest Harem Romcom of all time would also deliver one of the greatest Karaoke Episodes of all time.
I mean, we've got all the girls getting their own original songs (which you can buy on CD!), all getting their own unique performance animation, and did we mention their chic casual clothes? Shizuka's cuteness and her real voice are now officially designated as a walking WMD. Listen to it at your own peril, the only thing that can even mediate it is a romantic duet with her boyfriend. So we've got the HakarixKarane Girlfriends ship, and it seems like Shizuka and Nano are going that route too. But this was also Mimimi's episode! A completely self-made drop-dead gorgeous beauty voiced with aplomb by Lynn who learned everything about being a haughty ojousama from books! Though maybe Lynn asked Sumire Uesaka for some "desuwa" tips. Mimimi's love for Rentaro is matched by her love of beauty and herself , but it's also a sign of her own insecurity and how she doesn't want to feel rejected, which lead to a sincere confession of love. Rentaro is the patron saint of boyfriends. Not only will he always protect his girlfriends but hell even help save a wayward boyfriend of another girl too. He truly is the King of Kareshi. Honestly kind of surreal to see a girl react with shock to there being 9 other girlfriends, even if being the milestone girlfriend is what convinces her to go along with it. But not sharing a man with her archrival Nano! Even fater dressing up her new boyfriend to look like Nano! |

Ahhh, of course -- the ren'youkei of 図る. (Or one of the other kanji with the same kun'yomi but subtly different meanings. Like 尊 and 貴. I dunno, this language melts my brain. Better "hakaru" than "kakeru", at least…) |

Not just a simple theory, chinese animator that is working on 100gf and has a reliable track record leaked on Tieba that legendary moment isn't getting skipped, studio simply moved ch37 further into the season. The finale is the most fitting place and seems like they would even add Meme and Mimimi, which would make adaptation even greater then it's already is. |
