They forgot it was supposed to be the main character that was blind and not the animators.

I thought this was enjoyable, but I also think it was weaker in the second half.
You can explain away the fact that he shouldn't be able to see properly after being blind so long with magic, but the fact that Kunon could see normally (with a little extra) wasn't the best choice imo. If he could see in shades of magic or something, then at least it would still have an angle to work with in regards to it's main unique premise. |

I have no idea about the source but it almost felt like it did run by an other sight logic going off what Kunon says. But visually and plot wise he can see perfectly, which totally undercut what he said vs what he did. I did find it enjoyable but the second half really pushed his wacky gentlemen routine into obnoxious pest territory.
