I didn't really care much for the 2nd film, but I'm still looking forward to the rest of them. Hopefully the get licensed fast.

I don't believe so. I only remember 1.0 showing before it was licensed, and the then FUNi bringing the dub the next year for a panel. They didn't have a 2.0 panel. Last edited by Asrialys on Fri Aug 26, 2011 10:27 am; edited 2 times in total |

While this is fishing excellent news, with that release date it is likely that for once I'm not going to be in a position to watch Rebuild in theaters.
I... I've never had to wait for the BD release before... I don't know how I'll handle this... |

That said, this is still really good to know. Since I'll be waiting for FUNi to release it, probably won't be seeing it until 2013, but I can wait. Besides, I've still gotta get around to getting the original series, D&R, and EoE anyway. |

I do recall 2.0 being at the Waterloo Film Festival (At least I think it was Waterloo...) in Canada before Funi announced the license. I think it was subbed.

Yes, it is. Watch the films in any way you can. You and others aren't doing yourself a "favor" by waiting for all of them to come out, that's just silly. Even if you're not doing that, others are. And it's pointless. Seriously, they're coming out far enough apart that any money you might save from an unlikely boxset sometime in 2016 is just mitigated down to nothing. |

FINALLY!
Hopefully the Earth will survive until the States can get a release. (Bad apocalypse joke.) You think the earthquake might be partly to blame for such a slow release? I mean, at the very least, it probably made things worse. Still, I'm glad they finally decided to throw a bone to us curious fans. ^^ |
