Hello. I'm Brook-Gomamon. You can tell by my name, and my avatar, that I deeply love SAO.
 My favorite genre is cyberpunk, you know, dark dystopian sci-fi about robots. Stuff like that.
I already have a list of every anime that I've seen. animenewsnetwork.com/myann/lists/#/125468/best-to-worst-anime Mushi-Shi is on the top. I'm also big on SAO, Digimon,and Sgt. Frog. Ethnicity: I think I'm mostly Irish. Religion: Christian who's proud to watch Spongebob. Never understood why the Christian community was against it... Pets: Lions, Tigers, Bears... 
Drink/Smoke: I don't always drink alcohol. But when I do, I prefer raspberry ale. I never smoked. Ever. Likes: Art, films, cooking, actually good fanfics that don't involve sexual content. Except for Sonic and the Great War, which was a wonderful episode of Bad Fanfiction Theater. RATED M FOR seEEX!!! Dislikes: Politics and political conversing. Favorite anime: Mushishi, Digimon, Martin Mystery. 
Favorite Manga: Mushishi, Gepetto, and XDragoon. Favorite Books: Although I like modern stories, no work of fiction is as thrilling as Tarzan of the Apes; Favorite game: The shweetness that resides in Metroid Prime Favorite TV shows/Movies: TV includes IT Crowd and Office. Movies include Aliens and Godfather. Favorite Drink: Toughie... Non-Alcoholic Drink: Teas, especially Teavana, Celestial, and Sobe. Favorite Foods: Hamburgers. Favorite Sites: I just started her, so I won't list ANN. Anilist, Netflix, and XDragoon.com are faves. Favorite Sport (to watch): Football Favorite Sport (to play): HOCKEEEY! Favorite Music: I'm very diverse, but I love classic rock. Hobbies: Drawing. |

Holy Crap these lists are long. Feel free to ask any questions in the future but for now all I'll say about me is I was here several years ago(2008 I think), I remember when the sub-dub war was beginning on this site at least(not trying to start one now).
I posted how I was pretty much was a dub only guy and still is, but I've still bought subs too.(I'm just more picky about them).Anyway somebody immediately busted out "hey if you like and want more dubs start supporting the industry more". It took a couple of years after that to get over the prices...I started with places like suncoast, but I now have about 53,000 dollars worth of anime not counting figures, manga, and other memorabilia. Oh and 99% of my collection is blind buy. I don't seam or watch anything online. So we do exist About 10,000 dollars more and my collection will be pretty much complete. I don't know if I posted in the introduction back then but I guess technically I'm not new. But i'm back baby

Isn't that why we have double door wardrobes? One side for empty bottles, the other for stock pilling. I mean. Who puts clothes inside those nowadays. As soon as I walk inside my house, it's pants over the microwave and underwear over the drying plates [that never actually leave the drying thing]. I even go outside in the dark naked to smoke. I don't know how to get more worry free. |

I have no interest in it. The details about how it was released just put a damper on it for me. It seems clear to me that it was obviously never meant to be released. It is just someone working close to harper trying to make a quick buck off her name. Add in the fact that go set a watchman isn't even a proper sequel, but an earlier draft of what would eventually become to kill a mockingbird. Just makes me think it isn't really worth it.
The only thing that would be interesting about reading it, imo, is to see the progression from watchman to mockingbird. But that would be more for people who are interested in the literary creative process, which isn't me in this case. |

Despite my fondness for anime, I find myself constantly out of touch with what's going on in the industry, fandom, etc... So here I am, looking to find answers to my numerous questions and maybe even have some fun chats about anime while I'm at it. The list of questions isn't really my thing, however I will say that I'm a graduating film student with a talent for making a mean banana bread. I love theorizing about all media, but I'm also quite fond of sitting back and riffing on some shitty films. More relevant is the fact that I've done panels at several conventions, covering topics like Japanese horror, auteurs in anime, feminism, and expressionism.
