I actually saw something just like this on the news the other day, and the program basically interviewed the daily life some of these "net cafe refugees".
I remember hearing that overnight fee for one of these guys was only about 1000 yen - so I guess about 100 yen for the hour (IIRC he stayed at a regular no-fee cafe on days where he couldn't afford the this). If only I could recall some of the other details better - still, I felt real bad for the people that had to settle down to this kind of style of living. |
