Definitely hang on to it. You WILL be going back.

One of the coolest things about using the Suica card is you feel just like a local. You can fly in and out of the stations without having to figure out how much, where to transfer, losing or damaging the ticket, etc. As you go through the gate, it will tell you how much is left to use. Beware of the dreaded FARE ADJUSTMENT MACHINE! Laughing
