Aw, man! I wish this was nearby so I could wear my Teto costume to it. That would be one place I'd be recognized a lot, I'd think.

Wow, wish I was close enough to go. This is one of my favorite animated movies of all time. Definitely a masterpiece. Smile

Go Wisconsin?

Wouldn't have been my first choice. *cough*overrated*cough* It's always good to see anime given a more mainsteam showing though.

Seattle would seem more appropriate for this kind of showing. Ah well, I own the DVD anyway.

Wisconsin is a great place for the anime. Its being used in a film festival we do every year called "Tales From Planet Earth Film Festival"

our Wisconsin schools love their enviormentalists so its a good fit

That's great. That's only an hour from me. Even though I have the DVD and Love it, it's cool something like is finally happening here instead of out east or in WA or CA or something like that. It kinda reminds me of that Anime Exhibit in Wauconda, IL with Crispin Freeman a couple years ago.

That's nice. Surely, Nausicaa was the greatest work of Miyazaki, though many are great as well. However, I never really get why people make such a big fuss over his other films which really weren't THAT amazing, like Mononoke, or Spirited Away... compared to Nausicaa, they're really "okay," despite their great animation.

I dunno... I really like Mononoke. I don't think it's overrated at all. Spirited Away was only "meh" for me, though. I liked Howl's Moving Castle better.

No accounting for taste, right? Razz

You and the article are both right; World Wildlife Fund is the former name, while World Wide Fund for Nature is the current name. The initials WWF has been used for either name.
