Yes! I've been wanting to see this movie. It also has noodles doing the soundtrack (one of my fav all-girl rock bands).

So does this mean that a US release will follow?

I've also wanted to see this movie. .-.
Why do all the cool lgbt things from Japan only go to LA? Hardcore suckage.

it's called unadulterated perversion

everything of that nature goes to the most pervasively godless areas, which is LA.

if you think about it, that's how virtually every movie related thing runs.

omnistry: It might just be that the production company sent a print to the fest, in hopes of landing a distributor.

It's because the highest population concentration of ethnic Asians & Asian-Americans is on the west coast, and LA is the largest city on the west coast, so they're more likely to fill a theater for an obscure Asian movie in LA than in, say, Indianapolis or Boston. Instead of complaining about these films not coming to you, why don't you move to where the films are always coming? Wink

Apterous: You really don't want to move to L.A. It currently sucks at the moment.

Gee, do you think MAYBE it has to do with HOLLYWOOD being there?

LA is no more perverse than any other large city. You might be surprised at the godlessness in small towns.

Frisco has a large Asian Community. So does San Diego. Those places aren't the filmmaking capital of America. Better chance of catching the eye of someone in the American industry that can support their work in LA.
