I am no longer rooting for my own heroes. I am now rooting for Captain Awesome. That cracked me up and I would like to thank who ever wrote it.
There's a lot of really nice entries so far. It looks like every one had a lot of fun with it. |

5 pages worth of entries and it's not even finished? This is one of the best contributions to an anime I've seen since Hetalia.
Good designs for most heroes. Even if their drawings/designs are amateur, the ideas they have for their powers compensates for that. Well done everyone. Shadow Proxy is my kind of hero, so it's my favorite thus far. |

If "Arachnid Man" wouldn't qualify, then this complete rip-off of Booster Gold shouldn't. Sorry, but no, I'm not familiar with every single comic book hero out there.
We'll worry about "disqualifications" when the winner is picked, there's no need to be exceptionally concerned with it now. |

So removing design in favor of text, I'd have to put my favorites in no particular order as:
Steam Boy, Cyanide, Stellar Star (uuuu, so cute and original), Bakamoichigei, and The Pacifist for all around cool characters and descriptions. Special mentions for Sugar Tamer, Shoadow Proxy, Solanum, and ESPECIALLY Terra Firma, for particularly interesting powers and application. Hmm.. I also liked Serpent Red. Very interesting powers and backstory, if not a bit of a read, haha ha. Oh man, I'm going to be stuck with images of these guys running around in my head for awhile, haha ha. Good luck to you guys! |

Hooray! My submission FINALLY made it into the official line-up ("Mister Maestro," page 6, 3rd row from the bottom). Looks like this contest will be a close one, considering the many interesting and unique characters concepts in the final line-up.
My overall top picks for best character concepts (aside from my own, haha  ), are the following: Blood Pegasus (page 1), Terra Gene (page 3), Shadow Pirouette (page 4), Phantom Seven (page 6), and Voodoo Quickdraw (page 6).
My "Honorable Mentioned" pick would have to be "Terra Firma" (page 3, 4th row from the bottom). I'm surprised that nobody on this forum has mentioned her yet, but I had a genuine laugh after reading her description. If you missed it, give it a look! |
