Different promotional videos are produced for different reasons. The one released last month was the general promotional video used at Comiket and is what we normally think of as a "PV." The one released last week is called a "news flash" or a quick commercial. The video uploaded on Tuesday is the commercial that will air on stations to promote the show on those stations. Today's "promotional OP" is likely designed to promote the OP single in stores when it goes on sale near the end of next month. It also adds a possible extra to include with said OP single.

The only difference between this and other shows is the video uploaded today. Usually these don't get seen outside the stores they are played in.

How perfectly lovely! KyoAni's op sequences are always guaranteed to be gorgeous. I love that shot of the heroine standing in the sunbeams with the revolving camera.

Its easily the most hyped show of the season in Japan, so they're just trying to fuel that demand.

Ditto, I didn't expect an opening like this considering the tone of the previous promos.

Oh, good. Until I saw that disclaimer saying that this would not be the actual OP I thought that I was finally seeing Kyoto Animation TV anime with incredibly low budget animation, but that makes sense if this is just a small side commercial thing.

Not bad, KyoAni rarely disappoints so not too surprised at this OP.

Do gintama 3 and LB suddenly not exist?

Gintama largely targets a different audience, and LB has the uhh...controversies.

You mean one thats a combination of reruns and new episodes, and a JC Staff production?

Yeah, a new KyoAni anime will easily out-hype those.

There's a reason opn chose those two specific shows.

Thats a Biglobe poll.

Why yes, and it shows what autumn shows the voters are looking forward to. You would assume that the most hyped shows would get the most votes.
