I'm the same way about having things consistent. VIZ, while they're good at this most of the time, they've changed their logo too many times. TP did the same thing just once (from regular fish to red fish), which looks even worse on your shelf because it's more obvious. And then there's the part of the spine that touches 1/8th of the back and cover. But I like the little fish guy logo. Del Rey is still my favorite. @classicalzawa: Lovely collection, especially the first pic. And I spy a Phoenix Wright fig! <3 |

ah, thank you!
Actually, all the figurines from that picture are Papercrafts, I made them all by finding the printouts online, cutting and glueing them together. its all paper and glue. |

I've finally taken pictures of my collection!

Also I have several series that are unaccounted for and that are not in these photos, so my collection is actually bigger than what I have presented here. |

Mine is tiny compared to some of these, but eh, I'm proud of it.

Your collection is larger compare to mine, but I'm still proud cause I save money to buy them and I went all sorts of trouble just by getting them. Wow everyones collections looks really great. |

Yeah, bluestripe, that's seriously a great collection. Especially YKK. And Akira.
I'll try to post a picture when I have some actual shelves. |

Well, this thread inspired me to take a few pics. Sorry for the subpar pictures. Um...my collection isn't organized. At all. The books that aren't on my shelves are usually in stacks on my desk. I really need new bookshelves. Anyway, a few volumes, like Yotsuba&!, aren't pictured.

I think it looks nice, even the stuff on your desk. And I really love the selection of titles you have (which is really what's important ). I should take a picture of mine, but I'm not anywhere near it right now. All I have with me at the moment is Mushishi volume three. |

I noticed you have some Japanese volumes in there. I take it you're fluent in Japanese? |

Sadly, no. But I can manage with a dictionary.

I see, how hard is it to figure out what's being said?

It depends, to be honest. My grammar knowledge is adequate for most manga, even if I don't catch some of the nuances, but my vocabulary (and kanji recongnition) is weak, so it takes me a while to look everything up. The fact that I prefer seinen doesn't help much, either.
