Strange, I just posted here and was able to post fine before, but when I went to make a quick edit, I got hit with the page and my edit never went through (and have still been unable to on subsequent attempts). Then, as a test, I posted at another article, which I was able to both successfully post at and edit.

I think it's because of the numbers in quotes. Putting them in a post looks mildly like an attempt to pass code along to the server (ie: CF's AI thinks it looks a bit like a hacking attempt). |

Maybe it's because I tend to edit and re-edit my posts several times after first posting them. I know I should proofread and think about my replies more carefully before hitting the submit button, but I just tend to re-read (and re-think) what I just posted and add (or change) comments in the original post.

And I'm blocked AGAIN on a different computer (posting in the same thread as before, though). Does this site have something against long posts with multiple quotes contained within them?

AND now I'm blocked again (same thread) at BOTH of the above IPs.
AND I really don't have a clue why I'm being blacklisted, which doesn't help. Any hints? |

it's hard to provide help without the exact error message your got (cut-paste or screenshot)
if you can read the site, that means your IP is not blacklisted 192.168.0.101 is a private IP address (on your lan, behind your router) getting an error when posting a message can usually be fixed by answering the captcha but still, I've whitelisted 66.129.241.10, let's see if that does anything (it might not, since you're not blacklisted) |
