YES, I knew it all alone that funi would get DGM...now about RXJ, I was waiting for that too, since I'm really tired watching anime on internet (even I do so for some anime)

The reason is basically that its cheaper for the consumer to buy 2 mini boxsets then to purchase 6-7 individual dvds. That's also the reason the boxes for the individual series are now being released with the 2nd dvd instead of first now for many series.

This way a new entrant to the series hasn't spent $40 on a dvd + box for a show he doesn't like.

FYI this was taken from the funimation panel at Megacon back in Feb, from a series of questions I actually asked in regards to this trend Smile It's a much better marketing approach since individual discs have always been a rip off.

...and you are exactly the kinds of fansubbers the FBI should bust. This is also not the best place for another fansub debate or dub v sub debate. I can almost say the mods will lock this thread if things proceed into said territories.

How dare they? You DO know that you can watch DVDs SUBTITLED, right? I mean, this isn't VHS. If you don't like the dubbing, you don't have to, and guess what? YOU DON'T EVEN HAVE TO! Oh, technology, how I love you... being able to change it back and forth. MAGIC, I TELL YOU, MAGIC! /sarcasm

We'll just keep looking for those D.Gray Man subs that you say you're subbing, and we'll know who to send the cease and decist order to. Thanks, keep up the good work!
