I'm gonna have to track this down and watch it. Mainly I'd just like to own it because it's based on a videogame, and I love having all those little things like that. (Heck I have the ZELDA cartoon)
That being said though, I actually somewhat enjoy Tekken. I mean it's not the best. But I don't come away watching it with bleeding eyes or anything. (Course the redone music in the dub may have something to do with that) So maybe something is just wrong with me.

You know, someone needs to make Rifftrax versions of these kinds of anime. It would actually make them a hell of a lot more fun to watch.

I don't think Panzer Dragoon O.A.V. is that bad I mean don't get me wrong it's incredibly lame but hey it least is not as bad as the suckfest "Tekken" or "Voltage fighter Gowcaizer" which BTW are just bad they're real "BAD".
The Panzer Dragoon Saga game is no doubt very popluar with old school hardcore gamers due to it's rarity and limited U.S. release on the Saturn back in April 1998 at the very end of it's life however in Japan, where the Saturn had stronger sales it was an instant blockbuster which prompted this O.A.V. to be made. Since you're ranting on terrible video game adaptations, are you going to do "Darkstalker's"? |

Although ATC was dubbed by the Bang Zoom group in California as apposed to ADV's normal dubbing studio in Texas. |

Goodness. I don't actually WANT it. I'm just asking. And the only version of the CT ova I know of is the fansubbed one that was released a little while back. But it was pretty low quality. Not that it mattered... |

Unlike Panzer Dragoon, the Chrono Trigger OVA actually has Gonzalez(Gato) doing his song which pretty much is its saving grace.

You know, I saw Spectral Force at one of my local anime stores. I do own the Resurrection of Ethereal Empires game on PSP and thought it might have been a good buy. Is it actually awful? |
