I DID take it up with the staff a while back, and essentially got shouted down. But, you've got a point- I don't know why I even stopped by this thread...

After Columbine, you can't ever joke about stuff like this while at school. Murdering students and teachers isn't haha stuff anymore. Thats the reality of it and it really isn't going to change. And its not hard to follow.

I don't know why kids today don't get that. Its not hard. If you don't want to get expelled or suspended, don't joke about killing teachers and classmates. What on earth is so hard to follow about that? I also don't understand the sudden love of kids to talk about killing each other and killing their teachers. In my days if we didn't like someone we just talked about them or ignored them... we didn't write death threats, design shooting game levels based off of our school, and all this other stuff that screams for a psychiatrist to be on payroll at every elementary school.

I wonder why one kid got expelled and the others didn't though. Maybe they wrote celebrities while the other guy was writing names of students and teachers or something. LOL, maybe he was just a goth kid and that was enough to make everyone suggest.

Plus, Light would never do something as stupid as forgetting where the book is and getting caught by the teacher (unless getting caught would actually help him). They deserve their punishment. They shouldn't even have gotten caught. Death Note should have at least taught them that if you think before you act, you can get away with almost anything.
