My guess? Pride. |
Nah, you have to consider the fact that it have to match with Ninas own personal needs/goals when she was making it. My guess would be either Lust (since she did it for the love of the anime) or greed (she's an as far as we know unemployed newself anime otaku watching and probably buying lots of anime and merchandises. Last time i checked they had it pretty rough to enter the labour market)

Agreed, LOL. Especially when my friends who only watch reality TV and dramas laugh at my anime obsession

You forgot magical girl. |
I think Robin meant to cover the major genres of TV shows. Mahou shoujo isn't one of them (unless you're talking about disney/CTN channels)

I think you're rounded, Nina!
That said, nice variety of shows! This comic makes me simultaneously sad and happy at the same time, because I've had the same argument/discussion with my parents. It's true that I'm really into manga and anime, more than anything else, but because of the incredible variety of the series, I have gotten interested in many other things. Like... Yakitate and bread-making... ohhhh, I want to do that now...

Very funny. Nina watches a large variety of anime, so she is well rounded. Imitating what happens can lead to trouble, though.

Princess Tutu was a magical girl series? I just thought the series was a shojo sports series. I didn't know that.

I know I've heard things like that before! Again, an amusing comic, I didn't laugh out loud but I did smirk. Keep up the good work.

Princess Tutu is a shoujo series, not a sports series. There's a lot of ballet involved but the story isn't about someone learning ballet. It uses ballet to facilitate the telling of the story.

Great job again Robin.
I agree the last panel added that extra flare, poor Myoopi.

Thank goodness she doesn't watch Black Lagoon or Trigun.

This comic is Robin's crowning moment of awesome for the use of Princess Tutu, a truly fantastic anime, and ending with what might just be the darkest and yet most hysterical panel so far! This reminds me a little of when I go to get my hair cut. I adore chatting with my hair stylist.
. . . .
Wait, I'm a guy. That makes me sound really weird doesn't it? (If it helps me to sound less odd, she's an older but quite attractive red head.)
Also, thanks for reminding us all that anime has far more to it than some people think.

Duck uses a magical pendant to transform from a klutz to a princess who uses ballet to rescue the scattered shards of the heart of the boy she loves. That makes it magical girl, right?
Note: The above does not in anyway properly describe the awesomeness that is Princess Tutu.
