R.I.P. Too young for a comic artist.

That is quite young. None the less, may he find peace. I may have not read his work, but I hope he is able to find peace and kindness.

Dammit it all this sucks. I loved Turner and was always upset when he left the Witchblade team of writers/drawers etc. for the comic. I have faithfully followed his Fathom comics, and other comics like Soulfire, from his own Aspen Comics studio. I always thought he had real talent and I have always loved his work.

Gosh it's just so sad; the ultimate demise that we all will have to face, and it's just unimaginably terrifying to see someone go at such a young age.

Knowing that there's nothing we can really do about this is so horrific that trying to come up with a true sincere response to how sad this truly is, really brings nothing comparable to this kind of tragic occurrence, just no words can really describe the emotions. Rest in peace and my condolences to family and friends even though it's just not enough. u__u!

I've crossed paths with Michael Turner numerous times at various comic book conventions and he's never ignored me or any of his fans with a quick autograph or picture. Such a nice and talented artist will truly be missed.
Condolences to his family and friends. Rest in Peace Michael Turner

Damn,

That's unfortunate news for a Monday morning. I second those condolences to friends and family.

His skills on his Aspen titles and his interpretations of DC or Marvel characters were really amazing. (He would do covers for both comic houses)

He and his artistry will be sorely missed.

That's really so sad, I'd read an article months ago that was discussing him and how his cancer was affecting him and he seemed to be in pretty high spirits. I was at Wizard World when he died and found out there since he was supposed to be there the day he died
