Now there's nothing bad with mr. West being an anime fan, but this video implies that he's probably a closet furry. That teddy is his alter ego anyway. Scary. Smile

Uh, it was directed by a Japanese animator and animated by a Japanese studio.

Kanye West doesn't really have to try hard to win Grammys.

Oddly enough, I'll agree with that.

Ariel: It's not anime. It's a Korean production.

Anyone else not from the peanut gallery? Either it was the execution of the animation, or the song didn't really fit the animation. The video to me didn't seem to flow together.

Huh? It's about graduating from university ... which is exactly what Kanye the Bear does in the video. There's even a lyric about that DeLorean.

And the point about anime is valid. The video isn't 'anime-influenced,' it is anime by definition, as it was conceived and directed by Japanese artists.

The hip hop artist Kanye West has announced on his blog that the "Good Morning" music video directed by artist/animator Takashi Murakami has reached #1 on Apple's iTunes music video chart in the United States.

In other words, a rapper remains popular thanks in part to the efforts of others.
Nothing to be surprised about.

And lets ignore that he features and produced the current #12 song on the billboard 100!

12 13 Young Jeezy Featuring Kanye West Put On
Peak:12 Wks On:12

Funny how Kanye who was a producer first gets this treatment when it was his beats that were making other rappers popular/hot for years before he even got his break. Not to mention all his ghost producing before that...
