I don't have anything against cosplay...but there's just something that creeps me out about all the people at cons with tails and plush ears (be they cat or not). Like those giant plush fox tails.
I mean...in a way it's cute...but then many of those people are wearing "furry" t-shirts. It kind of irritates me because it often doesn't have anything to do with anime/videogames/other Japanese nerd culture stuff that anime cons are supposed to be about. Unless they're in a cosplay outfit and not just wearing the ears and the tail around. If they're cosplaying as an actual character it's okay. |

Kevin admits what all heterosexual men secretly know in their hearts: if the girl is appealing enough to the man, she can get away with most near anything that man normally finds irritating.
Love how he called Nina hot without actually directly saying it. I hope the next strip will be Nina realizing that he did that. Her expression then could rival her shocked one when he appeared in this strip. Just for the record, I skip the annoyance factor entirely and go straight to cooing over catgirls so even the most hyperactive crazy fangirl in cat ears (tail and paws are optional but desired) would automatically get my approval. I'm easy to please. I don't even need a costume or character. The species of cat/fox girls are so prevalent that I fully embrace them. Of course, cute news elf Nina is delicious in her own right with or without cat paws. @ bonbonsrus: Another link that might be of interest: Nina's Tiger Gloves from Code Geass. Qualifies as cat paws and character cosplay all at once. |

That's so reasonable, I think that's a good excuse to buy them for halloween this year, thanks Cloe! I already have cat ears somewhere...

What you guys don't know is that Robin actually bought a pair of cat paws at Anime Expo, and tried to hide it from people. ; ) I have pictorial evidence.

First off...... All the girls look cute at these conventions, even this past years AX08, I was looking everywhere enjoying the view
 ... lol.
Now to me, if people want to cosplay at conventions or expos, then go for it, do it however you want and forget what others think. How often do we get to do things like that and have fun, even if it's 1 or 4 days?? At these kind of events, it's kind of expected. I hear from some people who don't cosplay say they feel left out (easily fixed). Hell, even I do it sometimes and have a great time.

Chain the dialog in the frames together-- Nina: "...he'd probably hate that I bought these..." Kevin: "You're wrong... I secretly like it when the girl is hot..." Yes, he went there. I suspect that Kevin has been exposed to Felicia (Darkstalkers) cosplay by both the hot and the not-so-hot. There's a galaxy of difference between the two. (waits for the inevitable "girls in Felicia cosplay have hands...?" response) |

And here begins the arc in which Kevin finally chooses and unwittingly confesses to a girl (Nina) from his small harem, only to have a dying princess alien pirate who works as a maid move in with him and battle with Nina, Paola, and Myoopi for his affections.
