I agree with your observation here. I really like the entire Onegai series but I like Twin for the humor and Teacher for its story.
Amen and preach on, That has annoyed me everytime I walk into a video store and look at the anime section. |

Well, this new turn of events is heavily disappointing...
I love the character designs in the Onegai series, that's part of the reason why I watched. Now all we get are DRAMA CDS? That ruins half the fun, at least for me... |

srry for the dumb question but what are the consequences of that? They just gonna release a CD full of dialogues or something like that?

Bingo, and they're very popular in Japan, probably as popular as radio dramas were in the US back in the early 1900's.

Usually they're new stories, completely in audio, released on a CD or played as a radio show. Emerje |

Probably not going to happen. There are a lot of radio dramas over there and few of them make the transition over to anime.

Yes, but there have been a lot of extremely popular series that have had unanimated radio dramas made for them.

I would'nt rule out Onegai Friends from being animated, maybe they will bring it out next spring.

I think this new Onegai Series may just make it to anime. I saw at a nearby suncoast that they were selling figurines from that series. I have heard nothing about it being aniated for sure, but this box of figurines clearly said in Japanese "Onegai Furendzu". I wouldn't imagine someone marketing figurines from a drama cd if you never see the characters. It would make more sense if it were an anime. Perhaps it is coming out and only the Japanese know for sure. It always takes half of a year before we get something that came out in Japan.
