When you consider that it's a 42 volume manga about 12-15 year-olds that only covers about a year worth of story, you'd almost expect them to have a new story...
Personally I think the whole show would have been a bit more realistic if they were high-schoolers.
Plus, there's always college tennis...lol
Also, IIRC Seigaku has a high school too...

This has all the warning signs of becoming the newest captain tsubasa. I mean, the original captain tsubasa was what? 37 volumes when he was just a kid. Then it had another series that was 18 volumes participating in a <20 year old tournament. Then it had another series that was 15 volumes with him starting his professional career. And now its in yet another series with thats over 10 volumes with them playing in the olympics (or something like that).

Every TeniPuri fan knows this quote all too well. And I think it is all too appropriate for this news and the ANN community's reaction to it!

I hope that this is real.
I'm figuring that everyone will be in high school, but we'll loose Kawamura, but his family owns the sushi place, so they'll go there after games or whatever. But yeah, how is he going to work out the whole "Ryoma in America" thing?

Man, I never really got very far into PoT before falling terribly behind, but I'm still totally stoked for this. Hopefully it'll be really good. [:

This is the best news ever (although now its pretty old..but I just recently found out about it). I couldn't be more thrilled.
Faito Seigaku!!!
Although i guess they really won't be Seigaku anymore, with the team graduating and all.
