Not on CBC, it isn't: CBC still has a Saturday morning block of shows, all quite good and all Canadian. Take some comfort in that.

The Outlet is a joke. It picks up one new show a season, with the rest of the block being repeats of shows from previous years. It's been like that ever since the block got off weekdays, and started to have a identity crisis, changing from The X, to The Void, and now The Outlet... And even then, most of the time they were picking up gems such as the Korean-Canadian Love child Magi-Nation Rolling Eyes

It's great that the only Canadian Network children's block consists mostly of repeats. Rolling Eyes

There's still Teletoon and YTV, with its anime block, and there's the proposed Canadian anime channel.

YTV is currently Nick in YTV's clothing, look at their regular weeknight lineup. Filled with old stale family-comedies(hello Nick@Nite?), Idol clones, more reality and Nick shows. The branding has even taken over Sunday mornings. The Zone used to have Anime Fridays, now it's Nick everyday, every single day. Usually just the Sponge, and the Timmy.

Bionix itself is in shambles, and have been ever since the move to Saturdays. All the current shows are from one company (Viz), and all have been edited in some way.

And Teletoon rather would create it's own "anime" through Canadian companies like Bakugan (through Nelvana), Spider Riders (through Cookie Jar), even way back to Cybersix (through their own pockets). Other then the odd occasion with the movies this year like Akira, and the Armitages.

G4 is out of a sponsor, and Razer is dead. And likely Canada's only real non-edited anime block is on a channel two people in the country have (exageration), in Superchannel.
