given that the first FMA:B BD volume only sold 750 units its understandable that they'd cut back BD products on the whole, although given the delays to Haruhi i thougth they would have at least put that one out, given how long people would have held off from buying less suprised about the FMA:B and K-ON! sets, the FMA:B volumes clearly didn't sell so a full box set would project not to either and K-ON! isn't the hit here it was in Japan and didn't sell, so trying to shift a min. 3k of product would be difficult |

I might buy the Haruhi movie from Madman, but after hearing about the terrible job Bandai did on K-On! and the UK boxset cancellation, I just started collecting the Japanese BDs instead.

Do bear in mind that the reason for the Disappearance cancellation was compatibility problems with the Australian BD master and UK PAL PS3s (although I don't believe the exact problem was ever detailed and AUstralian PS3s are also PAL...), so if your only player is a PS3 you might want someone else to be the guinea pig.
